For the first time in Tamworth, from Saturday 19th September through until Sunday the 4th of October, The Atrium will be transformed into a sand wonderland as 35 tonnes of sand is carved into a a spectacular display of life size sand sculptures. A team of Australia’s finest sand sculptors will bring to life “Under the Sea” – a submerged world of beauty where reality and fantasy combine.
See sand sculptures of mermaids, sea horses and dolphins alongside sharks and an array of coral fish.
Integrated with the sculptures will be children’s activities including sand art*, sand bottles*, sculptor talks (4 per day) , interactive photography and a fun fact sheet; guaranteed fun for the whole family!
Entry to the Exhibition is $5 per person (this includes viewing the sculptures, interactive photo opportunity and the fun fact sheet).
